Tiong Bahru is an Art Deco heritage estate, and also one of the hippest places in Singapore to live.
A pre-war luxury housing estate, built on the site of an even older Hokkien Cemetery – this tour boasts a wide bandwidth of experience from hunting murals at the nearby Everton Enclave of magnificent shophouses overlooking the old Singapore Railway Station (a former terminus for the 135 year old Orient Express) to exploring the lanes and quaint streets of Tiong Bahru Estate.
Experience the hustle and bustle of a vibrant neighbourhood – a favourite place amongst many locals – try out some of the many local cafes and local eateries at the end of the tour!
Highlights
Witness splendid architecture and talk to the easy going shop owners. A great place to hide away after your ride – seek out one of the many hipster – or traditional – cafes and food hangouts, visit bookstores and antique galleries.
